In this weeks release you will be going deep behind enemy lines on a dangerous rescue mission. Pay special attention and you may uncover a terrifying secret about these mysterious invaders... as some of you have already noticed and speculated.... the ShadowScythe logo has been seen in DragonFable too! <dunnnn.... dunnnnn... DUNNNN!>

GEARS University Houses

One of the most important parts of your University experience is joining a house. Each of these houses offers a distinct view of the Universe and is driven by a greater purpose. We are currently working on all three houses.... when we are done you will be able to choose between joining the WolfBlade, MystRaven and RuneHawk which will create three different paths through the game. J6 has created brand new beautiful scenery for the rooms while Thyton created a unique Mecha gear and other items for each. After playing the introductory missions for each, you will only be able to join one house. This decision is likely to be permanent and will influence other areas of the game giving you a unique perspective from the pilots of other houses. We expect there will be a huge tournament within the University pitting the houses against each other in a test to be the best. Which raises some excellent questions.... what sort of tournament would it be? Hoverbike jousting? Mecha dueling arena? What does the winning faction get? A trophy? A special perk? Access to a special shop until the next tournament? Let us know what you think on the forums!

Zhoom is coding functionality for both MechQuest that will allow you to sell back items purchased for Novagems. We are still hammering out the details, but it is being loosely designed on the fair system currently being used in AdventureQuest.
